Manong Jun was super helpful, the place was clean and comfortable, the kitchen facilities were mind-blowing, and the location was jaw-droppingly convenient near restaurants. We'll definitely be back! We experienced a home away from home in Siargao.

the rooms are well built and the fully equipped kitchen area is a nice touch. we loved lounging by the beach and the owner was so helpful and friendly. the location is perfect - with easy access to everything. we also enjoyed renting a motorbike at a reasonable price.

Everything was great, me and my girlfriend really enjoyed the stay. It had a great and good setting close to the airport, the ocean and several bars and a beach club. Also, it was based directly at the sea.

Had a really nice stay on vacation. Located in a nice enough area close enough to great Filipino restaurants, grocery shops, and bakery.- It was 0 minutes' walk to Cherinicole Beach Resort.

The garden and hammocks made us feel right at home, and the bungalows were simple but comfortable. the property is conveniently located, with the beach/reef on one side and the main road on the other. the hosts, Kuya Jun and Adeng, were incredibly kind and helpful, especially in helping us organize our itinerary. We also loved their adopted dog, Pug, and the other cute and gentle dogs in the area. Pore's Homestay provided great value and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Siargao. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 😊.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home during our Christmas stay. the homestay was located within walking distance to beautiful beaches, bustling restaurants, and lively bars, giving us plenty of options for entertainment and relaxation. We also appreciated having air conditioning in our room, ensuring a comfortable and cool stay amidst the tropical heat.

While the overall experience was positive, the lack of warm shower facilities was a minor inconvenience. However, from what we gathered from other travelers, this seems to be a common issue in the area.

I had an exceptional stay at a homestay in the heart of General Luna. The location was perfect, right on the water and within walking distance of the public market and local stores. The apartment was new and had all the amenities I needed, including fast wifi and a comfy bed. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was great for cooking my own meals. The caretaker was also very friendly and helpful, attending to all my needs. The property had a beautiful garden where I enjoyed breakfast and coffee with a view of the sea. I highly recommend this place for a quiet and relaxing beachfront stay in General Luna.

On my check-out day, there was a maintenance issue on the street and the electricity was cut off, so I couldn't use the aircon or recharge my mobile. However, this was something out of the homestay's control.

The best accommodation ever. Incredible owner and staff. Superb location with nice garden area. Strong WiFi and real family feel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pore's Homestay. the room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a fridge and kitchen. the bathroom was also spacious and allowed us to take showers without getting the rest of the room wet. the property manager, Punz, was extremely helpful and assisted us with anything we needed. the location of the homestay was central, with eateries right across the street. it felt like staying at an Airbnb rather than a hotel.

The car rental service was extremely convenient, allowing us to explore the stunning surroundings at our own pace. It made us feel like adventurous travelers with our trusty steed ready to take us on exciting journeys. Sayak Airport being only 30 km away was a blessing, as it made our arrival and departure hassle-free. No long hours spent commuting to and from the airport meant more time to enjoy the wonders of Siargao.

The shower temperature was a bit on the cooler side. But, hey, after a day of exploring the beautiful island, a refreshing cool shower was actually quite invigorating!
